Sammy the Labradoodle
Sammy was born on February 24, 2001, adopted about eight weeks later, and has since been a cherished member of our family. Sammy is a Labradoodle, a new dog breed derived from Labrador Retrievers and Standard Poodles. Sammy is 3/4 Standard Poodle and 1/4 Lab.
Sammy exhibits many of the characteristics common to this breed. She has low- shedding hypoallergenic fur. She is very friendly and good with kids. We have a two girls who arrived after Sammy. Sammy adores the girls and they love her. Sammy is extremely intelligent, having a vocabulary of hundreds of words and knowing dozens of people by name.
